Lovely coffee/lunch spot with delicious food. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit on Saturday so went back on Sunday! Cheers Jackie & Jon (Oct 2016)

Once again enjoyed a wonderful evening at Ranges. My steak was cooked to perfection and as always the staff were friendly and with a ready smile...a good indication they like working there almost as much as I love eating there!!! (February)

It was nice to be greeted at the door upon arrival, second round of drinks appeared at the table without the need to ask :) and the rib eye special was cooked very nicely, we had a table closs to the fire which provided nice ambiance!

Thank you for the great night!

- Had a great Breakfast this morning , totally yum! Fire was roaring and the staff were friendly and attentive .
Must try pancakes and my Girlfriend had the waffles, yum
Would recommend!

We visited this cafe after waiting at the nearby Olinda Cafe for over half an hour and our food never arriving despite it not being full and others around us getting their meals. So we walked a few doors down to the Ranges. We had a table right in front of the big open fire which was beautiful on a cold wintry day. The hot chocolates were yum as were the hot wedges. Not cheap but at least we had good service and a nice atmosphere.

As Dandenong Ranges locals, we have plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes to choose from up here, but we alway go back to Ranges because you can bank on a good meal, friendly service, and a nice range of deserts.

Ranges is particularly appealing in the winter months, as they usually have two fires going to keep it toasty, and it's also one of our favourites for late night deserts and coffees.
Ranges don't generally take bookings, so be prepared to wait on public holidays and the like, but there's usually a spot at the bar to ponder a coffee or a vino until a table becomes available.
